Got questions?
Let's get you some answers.
I bought a Pass already but now I want to add Camping. Is it too late?
It's not too late. Contact Base31's Ticketing Office at ticketing@base31.ca or by calling 613-695-2851. Someone there will be able to help you out.
How does first-come, first serve camping work?
Once you arrive at the site, the camping supervisor will direct you to the camping zone you purchased and you will select any available site. First-come, first-serve camping allows you to choose a site close or beside friends should they be arriving at the same time as you.
What time can I check into my campsite?
Check-in between 2 PM - 9 PM on Friday July 24th, 2026. Check out no later than 3 PM on Sunday July 26th. More details on the check-in and check-out process will be shared closer to your camping date by email. If you are unable to arrive during the check-in window, please email ticketing@base31.ca.
How many people does the campsite hold?
Campsite fees are per campsite, for the entire weekend, and not per person. One tent site can have up to 4 people, a van site up to 6 and an RV site up to 8.
Can I have more than one tent on my tent campsite?
You are allowed to have up to two tents within your designated 15' x 15' camping area. No RV’s, trailer campers, or pop-up campers are permitted in the tent sites. Please consider that the site can be very windy and that all tents must be staked into the ground.
Is there hydro available for tent camping?
Powered sites are only available for Van and RV campsites. No generators of any kind, except in the Van and RV campgrounds with a maximum of 5 gallons of fuel. Battery packs are permitted in tent camping.
Are there showers?
Showers will be available and access is included in the fee. There are no barrier free showers onsite at this time.
Is there potable water available?
Bottled water will be available for sale at various food & drink vendors at Moto Craft as well as at The Commissary.
Is parking included with my campsite?
If you choose RV you are allowed one additional vehicle to be parked at your site. Van camping does not allow additional vehicle parking and tent camping does not allow any vehicle parking. All camping includes free designated parking available close to the campsite. Tent campers will have the chance to un-load their vehicle close to their site before parking their car.
Once I park, can I leave Base31 with my vehicle?
Yes! We encourage you to explore all that Prince Edward County has to offer while camping at Base31.
How do I dispose of waste?
Base31 provides one garbage and one recycling bag for you to dispose of waste. While camping, and at check-out, all bags of waste are to be disposed of in their respective bins. Additional garbage and recycling bags will be made available to purchase.
Do you offer waste water pump outs?
No, please find an alternative location to pump out your RV. The closest location to Base31 is Sandbanks Provincial Park. Additional fees may apply.
Is there Wi-Fi?
While there is public Wi-Fi located throughout the site at spaces such as Drill Hall and The Commissary, there is no Wi-Fi available within the campgrounds.
What if I lose something while camping at Base31?
Lost and found will be located at Building 26.
Can you help with an accommodation or accessibility request?
Specific campsites have been set aside for persons with accessibility requirements. For any questions or accommodation requests, please email ticketing@base31.ca.
